Anna Workman

Engineer

Anna Workman received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining Biocore, Anna worked as a Research Assistant at the Motion Analysis and Motor Performance Lab working with Vicon Nexus motion capture systems and force plates to generate biomechanical data. She also wrote code to simulate musculoskeletal models and visualize data captured by lab sensors. During an internship in 2023, Anna collaborated with other engineers at Octane in Kingston, Ontario on the development of a biocomposite spinal implant designed to enhance bone regeneration. Anna will be supporting our work in turf testing and injury prevention.
