Dr. Barnett is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Pennsylvania where he leads an NIH-funded research program of PhD students and postdoctoral researchers that focuses on the development of novel methodology for multivariate longitudinal data. His expertise and methodological publications span a number of research areas including machine learning, interpretable neural networks, statistical network science, sports statistics, and the analysis of longitudinal data. He received his BS in Mathematical and Computational Sciences from Stanford University in 2010 and his PhD in Biostatistics from Harvard University in 2014.
